Hi there, I just moved to Grass Valley Ca. I know there must be some cruiser heads around, because Iv seen a lot of cruisers on the road. I need some help finding good cruiser mechanics in the aria. I have a 76 FJ40 that I need some carburetor tuning, over all safety check and smog done on, and local recommendations?????

(I hope this isn't considered Newbie bashing)

Crawltec should be good. If that doen't work, try Alpine Auto near Taco Bell. As you will find out, GOOD mechanics are hard to come by up here. That's one of the reasons I learned to do as much myself as possible.

If you see an ugly, ugly Blue and White FJ-55, that's probably me. The real pretty blue and white FJ-55 belongs to someone who doesn't wheel it.

You don't by chance have a Dark Silver FJ-40 up in Cascade Shores do ya? One just moved in and I'm trying to figure out what human it owns.

Thanks For the reply, No though I’m down in Alta Sierra. And Its a white 40. Ill check them out too. I too have learned to do all the work to this point by my self, but with all the tools I'v gotten I cant convince my wife to get the computers for the smog and tuning...:rolleyes: oh well......;) Any how come spring Ill have to hit you up for some good trails in the area.
Oh and as for "The real pretty blue and white FJ-55" sports cars are fore looking, Cruisers are for wheeling! :D
