I know this is a minor problem but i dont want to be stuck on the trail and not know. I have an 83 pickup an the gas gauge dosent work properly. When the tank is near empty or full the gauge reads almost full an sometimes it will read a quater full depending on its mood. I have checked the grounds an power an still no answers. Could it be the sending unit or could it be the gauge itself? Any ideas?? :confused:

more then likely it's the sending unit, i'm havin the same problem and its my unit.
