Me:

I already welded the spiders on the 14 bolt so that's going back together. H8Monday is bringing me some steel for rear spring plates so I can ditch the too-small ones that I have now. Should be able to get it situated and have it ready to weld the perches on. I think that I should have the shocks figured out also...going back to the original way of mounting...gonna V them inward again...sux running out of shock on the rear!

I am also planning on starting my cage this weekend. Maybe I'll have some new pics by Sunday...

Of course..this is all depending on whether or not I can get Jeff's (H8) rig done...

So what you doing?

Wheeling. Gonna go break something. Then, when I get back, I might start taking measurements on my front cage bars so I can get them whacked off. Course, I will also have to fix whatever I break on the trail,....

You know I was going to edit the quote to have a little fun, but I decided not to:D

Going to mount the rear shocks, find a new pitman arm, and finish the new spring mounts for the front. If I have time pull the front carrier and remove the locker for use in the new axle. Then I'll be ready for the fornt SOA next weekend.

Tomorrow I'll put my front sheetmetal back together, straighten up the interior, load up some extra axle shafts ( :D ) and get it ready to go WHEELIN' on Sunday. :D

Then I'm going to buy (edit: BUG) ScoutDude and see what work he got done over the weekend when I get back. :D

Maybe I'll get some more drywalling done tomorrow, too..

Still need to swing the front axle back under the race truck, too. :(

I was gonna work on my scout again this weekend, but I'm gonna go to the REAL office instead and catch up on a little work. Things have been hectic at the office this last 2 weeks so hopefully this will help.:(

Well...for this weekend I plan on finishing up and mounting the new front spring hangers, installing a set of 5.13s and detriot in the 14 bolt and if time allows setting the 440, tranny and TC in.

Fab some rear shock mounts. modify the throttle linkage then take it out to see what else needs to be done to finish the SOA. If there is time start on the air compressor.

I finished the tranny, so I got to mate her back up to the 345 drop the POS in, finish my rebuild on the d300, heave that back up. And then all the little things to get her running.

this weekend? well in about 15 minutes I leave for my regular shift....

on my day off, i'm gonna start by hooking up the brakes on my scout. not supposed to do any work @ storage area, so i just need to not get caught. went by the other day,the p/shose had beed re-attached already. also take the replacement vent window I got to one of my fabricators and have him weld onto where we cut it to get it out of the doner vehicle.

I'll call coonrads & the yard in AZ, along with checking up here for a drivetrain/t-case combo
