I saw some place that you can get a 33 spline ox locker, if this is the case, does warn make a 33 spline axle, or was it superior that teamed up with ox,

just trying to dream up some way of keeping my 44 from destructing, and I was thinking a 33 spline warn shaft with a CTM joint would probably do the trick for me, I'm now running 35's but there is a posibility of going to a 37. but I need more strength without the loss of ground clearance.

anyone stuck 50 knuckles on a 44? but then you still have the spline problem, unless you go to a 33 spline. Hummmmmmmm....

have to work out the diffrences in tube diameter.......anyone?????

Run Dana 60 or whatever outers and have the inner axle machined down to fit the 33 spline OX, thats the only option I really see. 4130 Dana 44 style yoke front axles for 33 spline locker would be custom and expensive.

those superior ones you are talking about are only offered for the rear i believe. they do have new front shafts coming out with there new u-joint, but they aren't the 33 spline ones i don't believe.

Lance and Kelly just destroyed a front 44 ARB before the Warn splines or CTM let go......

It looks like the hubs are the weak link in this operation, unless you are running drive slugs and then it's the carrier or 19 spline outers :eek: . I feel real confident for our upcoming AZ trip that I will not destroy anything in the front with 35's, especially after seeing Lance and H8 fully get it a couple of times now with CTM's and 38's.

If you have to ask, you need a 60.

I've heard this 3 times, but haven't seen any details on what really happend.

You are correct sir! The 33 spline is only for the rear.

Do they even offer the 33spline diff without the axles? In the past, you could not get the 30 spline D35 detroit without getting the kit
