Show your wife where the tools and the parts are and tell her to fix her own d/\mn jeep :flipoff2:
1st remove the tire:

Then pull the hub:

Off with the retaining rings and spindle nuts:

Now take off the spindle:

Revel in the sheer mass of the new shaft compared to the old. (they really are a good bit bigger, even for a D30. but you can't tell in my $hitty pic)

Finally, slide it in and think about all the wheelin' you'll be able to do:
