specs: 4.10, 31 spline, came from a 99 Exploder, M.O.R.E. kit, D35 ebreak cables. stock No splip till I get the $ for ARBs

You better grind or cut off the lower lip on the diff cover or you'll peel that cover right off.....

Yup... Just did that to mine again this weekend, had to stop and refill the rear end on the way home.

What kind of clamp is that on your e-brake? I've had mine in for over a year and haven't gotten around to hooking up the e-brake yet. :( Partly cause one side is missing the lever doohickey that comes out of the housing.

couple things not to bash but just observation
why did you go thru all the trouble of mounting an 8.8 and still leave the shock mounts below the axle?
second i would weld all the way around the tub not just 4 tacks
and yup cut the lip off and weld on some thicker stock that won't bend like the stock cover will.

I disagree. The 4 tack welds should be fine to keep the tubes from moving, & the shock mounts allow him to run a longer shock, while not really getting in the way of anything. I agree with you on the cover however.. I actually reccomend getting an aftermarket one, cause my friends & I have broken/peeled a good 5 or 6 of them & they all suck! Plastic.. What was ford thinking? :rolleyes:
