As i posted here, i broke my rear driveshaft pulling out of my driveway.
This was only my one and only rig so i removed it, put the front one and so i could drive it (spooled front = not fun) and limped around.
I called Tom and told him and he said he would take care of it. I next day aired it to him Tuesday after work, called him Weds night and he told me that it looked like lack of lube but he would take care of it anyway. I had it next day aired back to me and it is now Friday and it is installed in my Jeep and ready to go.
I also bought the little adapter to grease those weird fittings.
All and All i was very impressed and please with how fast he turned it around must say, he handled it well!
Hats off to Tom Wood!!! (and Troy, his helper)

I totally disagree with your feelings on Tom Wood's. I have bought 7 top 'o' line driveshafts from him over the years and they have held up well, but i broke my rear driveshaft a few months ago and it was clearly a issue with the yoke one the axle end of the driveshaft(not the pinion yoke) because the u joint did not break. so i called him and he told me that he would not cover it under warrenty and i would have to pay for the new yoke and then if i wanted i could spend more money and buy the 'trail hazard' warrenty on top of that. I was never offered this when i bought the driveshafts and i feel that this is a new policy and i did not have a option to purchase it when i bought any of those driveshafts from him. I also had written a product review article for him a few years back for JeepsUnlmited and helped him get into the JeepsUnlmited market and i had never recieved any price break or anything from him for that review(i did not ask either). So i asked Tom if he could build me a shaft that was stronger than the 1310 cv and u-joint i had previously and he told me that he did not feel it was nessecary, i guesss a 400+ hp motor, ford t-18, atlas 2 3.8, dynatrac 60 rear and 38's. does not warrent a stronger than 1310 u-joint. Well Tom, my money was spent with Jess @ highangle driveline because you would not fix my shaft or build me a stronger one.
Thanks You Jess @ High Angle Driveline

I've always had good service from Tom Woods. $60 to shorten, rebalance, grease, and paint a driveshaft is better than anything I can get around here.
Had to do that several times due to axle swaps.
He's always gotten me the product on or before the time he said he would.

Good Points Jess
I (and some club members) actually had some bad dealings with him at first but after my rants and public complaining, all seems well now
:D

But how much did it cost to ship the driveshaft back to Tom in Ogden, Ut? add that to the price and you can gat a accurate idea of the cost to do your DS. It cost me $84 to have the same thing done to my front TW shaft here locally. and all i had to do was drive up the street, and 2 hours later it was done.
I am not trying to bash Tom Woods, but it really pissed me off that he would treat a good customer like myself the way he did. Product is not the only thing a retailer sells, it is also service, most of the time great service can make a decent product great, but poor service make a great product decent.

I broke the yoke on one of Tom's shafts, due to bad axle wrap (same thing happened to another shaft on the same trip). Tom had UPS pick it up & I got it back in about a week. Didn't cost me a dime.
Glad you guys got good service from him :D I never did once he left six states :(
