I am having trouble with my Saginaw power steering conversion. Basically, it doesn't want to turn left now. When we first finished the conversion, it turned ok in both directions. It turns to the right fine. The pump and both lines are new. I have the Marlin Crawler high steer kit, and have no problems with it. I can't see anything putting the steering in a bind. All of this leads me to believe the problem is in the steering box. Has anyone experienced this before?
Check that the pitman arm is on correct. You could have it installed so that it completely to the left as centered.

How many rotations can you get out of the wheel/box from end to end, and do you know how many turns it had originally. Some boxes only have 2.5 turns, but most have at least 3.25. Hth

What joint do you have between the box and the steering column? The crap rag joint? I've seen more than 1 fail when tried to be pushed beyond it's limit.

If all of the above aren't solving it pull the pressure bolt ball thingy on the back of the pump and see if the srceen is clogged.
