:confused: I have heard that you can "flip" these axles over and swap the knuckles,etc. in order to get passenger side drop.Is this true?If so :D how do I go about doing it?

you cant just "flip" it. you would have to retube the thing, cause the diff must stay in teh position it would be in normally. the reasoning is so all of the bearings get proper oiling. retubing it is the only way, and if tou didnt know the answer to this question i would be willing to bet retubing the axle is goin to be out of your league in difficulty, no offense its just that everything must be EXACTLY right when you do this

No offfence taken.I have NO experiance with these axles..yet!!

I do however,DO virtualy ALL the work on my vehicles.ONLY exceptions are when I simply do not have the equipment.So learning how to work on these is what I am trying to do currently.BTW thank you for the reply!

I have seen and am watching another post on here about retubing.Can you educate me on this?

Ishould say that I do not have any of these axles yet as well,so a pionter to where I can obtain them near Southern Oregon U.S.A. would also be greatly appreciated!

What kind of rig are they going under? Just asking because it might be easier to do some kind of doubler setup, if you have the room.

This rig is a '79 Wagoneer.401,NV4500,have not decide on the TC yet...still waiting on word about the STaK Box!May end up running a revearsed 203 range box for good freeway rpm.All in the research stage as of now.

Much of what will eventually find its way into this machine alson depends on if I can convert 416's to use srandard Dana60 rotors/calipers for the 8 lug rim patterns.Much better tire sellection than 20" rims!Although it is coming along.I want 44" and 46" BOGGERS and SWAMPERS!!!Considering how many people are running BIG rims these days Interco realy needs to make them for larger rims!!
