Hey! how are you guys! my names greg and I am thinking about buying an 87 jeep wagonier with a 360. I am a sami guy but I am considering buying this jeep as a tow rig. Its got a rebuilt 360, many new parts, and its clean in&out. the only problem is its got a blown T case. The sellers desperate for money and hes letting it go for $800.00. Do you guys think this is as great as a deal as I do? is this a good year? would i be able to find a tcase on this board? If so, what do they go for? any and all info would be great. thanks greg :confused:

don't know about anything else, but it should have an np208 in it. they are a dime a dozen.

Around here (Cleveland Ohio, rust belt USA) that would be a steal, assuming the body is in halfway decent condition... and as you're in CA, I'm sure its fine.

$800 for a fresh 360 is worth it right there, then you're sitting on another $3-500 worth of axles. Go for it.
