well i changed the coil pick up today and now my TPI is running like crap..it is just chugging! can't rev higher than 2000rpm's...what the heck is wrong?

If you are talking about the stator in the dist., they should be color coded for rotation direction. Sometimes they get wrapped backwards. One uses a red and a white wire, or is it red and yellow, another uses a green and white, or is it green and yellow? Anyway, If you are sure that you installed it correctly, chances are you picked up one that was mis-labeled or wrapped for an olds engine, which turns backwards from the Chevy.

dude yeah, mine is green and yellow and the one i installed was i believe white adn yellow!! well i am goign to install the old one and see what happens, thanks
