Can you drain the coolant out of the 1.3 block? Is there a drain on it? If so where? My 79 FJ40 had a drain on the block under the manifolds. It made flushing easy.

course you can, knock out a frost plug. find a pipe plug that goes to the coolant.

Thanks for the info, I typed up a long reply this morning then had problems posting. Basicly my FJ40 had one on the block and it was a good way to flush by opening the petcock on the block and inserting a hose in the radiator. Sounds like the samurai does not have one.
