Hi guy's
Well I replaced my rear disk brake pads, had to screw the pistons in to get the calipers back on.Now my pedal goes almost to the floor. How do those calipers adjust back up so my pedal height is right? This thing is scary, pedal almost touchs floor before I feel any braking.HELP!
It's an 89 2wd,w/4wheel disk,auto,p.u.

Okay back to your original thread . . . if you "screwed" the pistons in, you shouldn't have even needed to bleed the brakes because you never opened the system to air.

At this point, I would bleed some more, then bleed some more. If there is no leak in the system, it must be air.

Can you blow a seal in a brake system? If it is bled and not pressurizing, something must have gotten messed up when you did the job.

Sorry, that all I have.

Well, since there are now two posts on this and I think that qualifies as an offical clusterfawk, here goes again.

Use the e-brake. It will ratchet the piston into position and therefore, take less pedal to activate the brakes.
