I am moving to San Diego (Chula Vista) in July and looking to meet some fellow jeepers/wheelers in the area.

Anyone have the URL of any recommended clubs or anything?

there is www.tds4x4.com that sandiegocj on this board is in also www.sandiego4wheelers.com dont know anything about them im sure tehre are more just cant think of any. Im moving back there in may so im looking for a club or something to eventually join.

When in July are you heading there? Can't help with your question but do yourself a favor and get to the OTL tourney (http://www.ombac.org/over_the_line/index.htm) at Fiesta Island on Mission Bay. I will be there. Kinda like Mardi Gras on the sand, no beads needed. :D

Mangler, dude, you're moving out this way eh? Im about 2 hours north of you, and rockranger is one of my good buddies. We should do some wheelin sometime once you are out here. Just ask Rock Ranger, Ive got some pretty fun trails about 20 min from my house :)

Nice!!! Thanks for the offer!! I will be out there in Mid July and should have my rig built up soon after (bringing all my good parts from my current rig to cali and swapping them over to a newer YJ). I am really looking forward to moving out there and not having to deal with all the BS that has gone on around here with all the recent trail closing, etc.....

Know of any online places in Cali i can "Jeep Shop" for a new rig? If so, that would be well appreciated!

Dude, whats wrong with your current rig? I didnt know it was down. There are quite a few places, I don't know if they are online, but, if you can wait till once you get out here, there are quite a few jeep only type dealers in so cal. I will get back to you on the names of them!

I've in San Diego county all my life and if you want to talk about trail closures, All the Frickin tree hugger whining bitches have closed most of the good old trails here already. :mad:

For Jeep parts there is a place called Border Parts in spring valley that has the best prices on things. The guy that runs it is named John and he knows every part number is his head. :smokin:

BTW why would you move to Chula Wanna. You can throw a rock to Mexico and they LOVE to seal cars being 5 minute from the border.

When you get out here check out the San Diego 4wheelers its not a Jeep specific club but there is alot of Jeeps in the club bout 98%. Their web page is www.sd4wheel.com.
