i have an 440 and want to put it in a buggy i need to know how to wireing the ignition i have all the boxes i just dont know where to hook up the power wire

I assume since you said you had all the "boxes" that you are running electronic ignition. Here's a simplified diagram for the Mopar kit:

Eh, it's got something to do with the start/run function of the ignition switch. If you are using the dual ballast resistor wire it up as shown. The number one wire is going to be your main hot wire, or feed from the ignition switch to the control box. You can actually eliminate the number 3 wire if you want and run the smaller single ballast resistor. If that is what you have in mind, wire it like this diagram here:
