Posted on the General 4X4 BB that I just finished my NP205 with NP200 parts, has dual rear outputs. Could be useful for a Land Cruiser project.

Charlie -

How did you do it?

Is there any machine work involved?

What parts from a 200 do I need

thanks,

Don't have pics but the only that looks different is: NP200 yoke in front , and a bearing retainer and a NP200 in the offset rear. Plus the 2WD/4WD shift rod looks a bit different, because it's from the NP200. What will be cool is when I have the NP203 reduction box hooked up and it has a 6.27:1 low range.
If you're willing to forgo the 3.2:1 gears and go with 2.01 203 gears, you can have a 203/205/200 Land Cruiser transfer case pretty cheap, NP200s can be scrounge-found for $2-300 (surplus places sell them for $500), 203s for near nothing, 205s for whatever, and the adapter for ~$750. In that case 3.94:1 gearing, bolt-on with factory adapter to SM465 if the rare elusive 465-203 adapter can be found.
