I am looking at doing a TPI/Vortec conversion and am told I am opening myself up to vapor lock problems if I use an in line pump? Greg yoda 02-26-2002, 12:13 PM Oakley, Are you still running the in cab tank? I have my fuel injection pump installed on the frame rail below the drivers seat. I have never had any vapor lock problems, including driving in 100 deg temps at 8,000 feet this last summer near Salmon Idaho. I think there isn't a problem because the is sort of a siphon effect with the pump below the tank. I never plumbed in my aux tank to the injection. I ran 3/8 inch steel line to the injection and 5/16 steel line for the return line David :usa: | |
