I just lifted my jeep 11in & I have to figure out how long of brake lines I need. I was wondering how much extra play should I have when the jeep is sitting level. From frame to caliper is 27 /28 in so how long should I get? 35 / 36 in lines.

A couple of things to think about:

How much droop travel do you have?

How much extra do you need when the knuckle is turned?

I like to flex it out to check the length.

All lifts flex differently so definitely flex it out you don't want your break line acting as a limiting strap. Also if it too long you risk the chance of catching it on something on the trail or it catching in your suspension or rubbing.

flex one side and measure :) always go for longer break lines. Check out www.speedwaymotors.com stainless steel braided 48" for only $15 :D
