i'm looking at a '96 CDT 5spd, 4x4, extcab, long bed. this thing has 225,000 miles on it and the guy is asking $8,500. sounds a little high to me if there is a lot of work involved in getting this things ready to tow.
this leads me to my question,
What should i look for that should have been replaced with this many miles?
Wheel barrings? Ball joints? U joints? clutch? king pins?...... :confused:

Track Bar....have a good alignment shop do an in depth look at the front end. $8500 isn't bad at all, as long as it isn't beat to death. There still is a lot of life left in the Cummins.
