Do you have a setup with the C4 or other tranny that this TC works with that will work behind a jeep 4.0L I6? Does the C4 work with the AA chevy adapters to jeep engines for example? I know you had a thread awhile back where you mentioned that you have a line on custom built C4s. Any chance you can get a custom bellhousing with that? I have a bellhousing with my T18 that goes from that ford pattern (4 bolts) to the AMC engine pattern which could work depending on the shaft length of the C4 etc.

I'd love to run a nice short auto in my YJ buggy, but I'm commited to the stroked 4.6L I've put in it too :)

There are conversion bellhousing for the C-4 to bolt up to Chevy motors (4.3, 350, etc.) and late model ford (4.6, 5.4) but nothing to AMC. The bellhousing is 5 bolt and the T-18 bellhousing won't work. Unfortunately, the simple Chevy / Ford T-18 conversion does not work with this tranny.

I have driven both a th350 with one and a C6 with one and both seem to act the same way

these convertors are every thing people say they are, I think there great (Im not working for any one related to this product!!! :flipoff2: )

I just bought a Corvette LS1 with 350 HP and 375 TQ and I will be mating it to a Th400 with an Atlas, 4.88 gears, and 39.5" tall tires. Jeep should weigh around 4000 lbs and it is for trail only. So do they make one for that and how much would it be? Also would I need any other items to make it fit the LS1?

How bout a 360 chrysler, external balance, 400 hp, 727 trans........looking for somethign arodun 2000-2200 stall. Power comes on strong right now at about 2100, current convertor flashes to 1800 at throttle drop.

5200 lbs, 4.56, 39.5 tsls, stock 727 gearing, soon to be FI'd.

I can go with a B&M flex plate if the convertor only comes neutral balanced.

I was thinking that a stock converter which came with the Bowler Built TH400 would be fine but maybe you can talk me out of it...

I have been talking to the Art Carr guys about their full manual valve body for the th400, this is the one that allows engine braking. Can you sell this valve body and, if so, what is my price on it? I also need a price on their rack crawling torque converter for this same application bolted to a tbi 350 with a stall somewhere around 1800-2000, i'm guessing on that, never had a rig with an auto. I need both of these shipped to Madison, Ms 39110.
