I want to build a toyota, but eventually want to run coilovers, one reason is because we also do alot of sand sports and I want to be able to rip through the dessert:D the problem is I've known guys that have gone to coilovers and had problems with streetability of the rig. I also want to be able to cruise down the freeway, and let the wife drive if she wants to. Is there any magic to this like a special 4 link or 3 link or pan hard bar, or is it just that, 4 link it and your done???? Just for mental imput.
Also anyone know what a set of KING's are goin for???

Too soft = bad news. A panhard bar would be a good idea. 2" Sway-A-Way's go for about $400.00.

for ripping through sand you're gonna want 2.5" shocks. The 2" are fine for rock crawling but for speed you want the bigger ones. I think the 2.5" has something like 51% greater oil capacity than the 2".

Steve is correct, 51% more, which means nothing unless you are doing 90mph through the desert and hitting 3ft whoops.

If you are setup for highspeed desert I would think it would handle very well on the street, if it didnt you would just have to experiment with swaybars. I would run a track bar in the front otherwise it will be difficult to dial out bump steer. Don't setup the links yourself unless you know what you are doing unless you never want to be on the street.
