Met these guys last Sat, after answering a sale post. Mentioned they were planning a snow trip on Thurs. Being my normal spontanious self I went along.

Was a pretty good trip. We broke trail almost to wentworth campground Thurs. Fri we nearly made the top of the hill on Mckenstry. Snow was tough, mushy kind :( . Sat weather was turning and snow got worse. Met this guy on the way out. Sure would have been nice to have seen him on Thurs!!

I saw that 6.0 last weekend, too. 400 HP Vortech just installed, dynatrack 60s f%r, SM420, Atlas, etc... Damned nice rig.

Looks like you guys had fun, Ya thats my neighbor Kurt in the TJ, he is up there every weekend with his two identical TJ's, he has his,and his wife, has here's both gold and built' :smokin: I call him snowwalker.

I knew I had seen him before, just couldn't place it.

Actually alot has melted. Wasn't as much as I thought there would be. The snow line was at 5400 and climbing fast.

looks like a ton of fun! Next winter I hope to tag along :D Funny tree pics :D

Heck, I have been too busy working on my cruiser to wheel in the snow!
Just installed a 1994 toyota pickup master cylinder in the 40 to get rid of the leaking 73 master.
Also installed a new exhaust/intake manifold from split pea to replace my bad one from last year with the stripped carb studs. Runs like a top now!
Next is to get the autometer guages installed!!
Then rediisign my storage rack, get rid of the rollbar in the door, repair the torque bar, replace the radiator fan.
Oh yea, I need to install the new shifter in the 55 and fix the tie rod!!
My wife says to me today. "You ever going to finish that truck?? But honey, "It is my hobby"! Ha, ha, ha!

That's only the second time I've seen a quadruple post. Nice work!:D

Hilarious tree pic, BK. Thanks for the pics. I'm a bit amazed that you spent one day working your way too the trail. The Sierras have a serious snow pack.

Thanks for posting the pic's. They still don't do justice to what we went through. A lot of side hilling, plowing through, and even the occasional digging w/ winching. Never mind tipping on my side. Front locker is a must now. Good trip. Notice the sig line addition :laughing: . Thanks again Bill, look forward to wheelin w/ ya in the future.
