2003 tahoe 4wd

the tie rod has a second pitman arm on the passenger side that seems like a slave. the end that would attach to the output of a steering box attaches to a pivot point on the frame.

The pivot point assembly is clunking. Yes I've tightened everything I can get at.

anyone know the name of the pivot point assembly?

I'd like to be able to describe this to the warranty svc guy and use the correct name so I don't have to crawl under it and point to it.

the part that you are talking about is the "idler arm" it is basically a pitman arm on the passanger side, you can get just the arm or the arm and the assembly that bolts to the frame
