Yes, I'm fully aware of my obsessing on this topic.Unless I find one worn worse than this one, you won't hear from me on this topic again.
I removed the camshaft from Discochef's truck today.The cylinder number five lobe was worn to less than half its original size! From an original lift of 0.261" at the cam, this lobe measured only 0.124"! It was worn so badly the lifter was riding on the unground portion of the camshaft.
The pics are bad, but here they are all the same.
