what do you guys think, i'm thinking of getting the locker and only use 4wd on road for at most a week of winter, but it is my DD, just want to kow if it's a real big no no to get a detroit in the front...
price is appealing9used for a very short time), and i don't have the $ for an ARB or OX.

If I remember right you can't run a front locker as you have no vacume disconnect on your TJ. If you have converted to manual hubs then your OK, but you'll probably end up in the ditch if you try to use 4HI in the snow. I'm locked front and back with swampers, and even in 2wd its VERY hard to keep things straight in the snow.
