I have 99 grand. The air bag light comes on and off and it dings at me. It is about to drive me nuts. I was wondering what caused this and what I can do to fix it

Do the steering wheel controls still work (i.e stereo, cruise)?

If no, it's the clockspring...if yes, faulty bag sensor???

how do you fix it if it is the air bag sensor. Or if it a clockspring how do you fix that
