I have a 92 rodeo that has some pretty loud rattling in the rear. It sounds like it is comming from the spare tire holder, but im not sure. Any ideas?

Could be the spare tire carrier or could be the latch for the rear window. (could be a lot of things really) If its the window, just wrap some tape around the metal part of the latching mechanism that is connected to the glass.

I don't know Rodeos, but is the jack back there somewhere? I have fixed many a rattle by tightening someones jack. SG

It could be the jack, ill check that, But I remember it making the noise when I had left the jack out once, so Im not thinkin thats was it is. Ill try the tape on the window thing, that would be a nice easy fix.

well it turned out to be a combination of the wheel carrier not being in both clicks and my rusty old tailpipe hitting the body. Thanks guys!
