So, what have those of you with wider stances and tires done about mud flaps? Got pics?
I was thinking something along the line of an L shapedbar with a socket for the short leg and a keeper pin. Sorta like some of the big rigs have.

i made my mud flaps out of a set of rubber floor mats and some metal.

here is a link to the site that has a picture of it. the best picture is the one in the middle. they have worked awesome so far and I am in them about $12 in parts. (you might have to copy and paste the link)

I am missing both rear flares and have no mudflaps, so I guess I've done nothing.
Travis..
I guess I could be of some help instead of being an ass. Go to a heavy truck shop and get a set of hangers for a truck and shorten/alter them to work for your set-up. Then it will be exactly like the big rigs have, not sorta.

I did a quick pin setup so I can Take them off. Some Drilling and some angle a couple of small pins from Fleet Farm. and some rattle can paint.

Harbor freight has some cheap mud flaps.

two (http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=8870)
I've seen the HUGE semi truck ones on e-bay for cheap, seems they could be cut in half (the plain black/white/solid color ones).
