I yanked the knuckle off and now I am trying to locate a page? on the net I seen a few yrs ago. It showed how to properlyset the caster.

Should I hang the axle housing first and get the pinion angle and then try and get the caster rotation right? O its 6 deg I need right?

the only issue I have with doing it like that is that the jeep is just a frame right now. I would be leery of not having enough weight on it to properly set it.

What do you guys suggest?

Thanks

I'd wait until you have weight on it, then set the pinion angle and lastly set the caster. 8 degrees is what I'd put on it. I have 11 degrees on mine since it used to be flat-towed a lot. Remember, you can set your pinion angle pretty high because when torque is applied to it it will want to rotate down. You can do your spring mounts and everything before you rotate the knuckles, but I'd wait until you have weight on it to do the caster. The only thing that will change when you do that is your steering.
