Are there any of the seals/gaskets/o-rings etc in a 7.3l powerstroke (1997 model) that are made of that horror stuff that poisons you if you touch it after its been burnt?
I have just bought 2x F250's that have been burnt and don't want to die or loose body parts stripping down the engines/trans/diff.

Further to my original question, aparentely this substance is also used in some mutli rib v belts, poisoning occurs if your skin comes in contact with a burnt piece of it (some chemical change occurs in the burning process) .....death follows.....
I still can't find the name of the stuff or if it was used on the powerstroke, F250's
Anyone have any input to this topic?

I haven't heard anything about that. I'm sure living in California, if that was true, the eco nuts would be all over that.....:skull:
