Has anyone used a "front" rear spring hanger on the rear for a shackle flip? We tried it on my brothers truck and it seems to work very well.Like 5"-7" of lift with no apparent adverse affect. It is a cheap if you have the extra parts on hand.

Heres a set of shackles I built.
Worked awsome last year, before I`went to 63" springs,
Can't wait to see how it will work this year

wouldnt putting a shackle flip on the front of the rear distroy your pinion angle because it would rotate the axle into the ground. Now if you did it on the front and rear then it would be just like stock.

u need to use blazer hangers to do it, using the ones from a pickup take ur springs out of parallel. they are a lot longer, but the pickup ones are spaced differently....as far as using blazer ones, yea we do it all the time, hell i have about 4 sts of them on had caause someones always needs them.

I wish I had a digital camera so I could post some pic's.They seem to be paralell on this one. It's a 67 k20 and the hangers came off a 80 k30.

Here is mine, they are off a 3/4 ton pickup, there are 2 different ones, one is longer than the other, I have the long ones. With the blazer hangers you would not be able to get enough lift out of them so they wouldnt work.
