We have a race shop, and have built alot of stock car cages. On the IMCA mods that we built the drivers side frame rail is fabbed, and we dont rely on the factory frame rail on the stub as an anchor point for the cage. IVe got some ideas on how I might want to attach the cage to the frame, but wondered if anyone here had pics of how they kicked out away from the frame for the cage.

let me try asking this a different way.

The zuk frame is inboard from the side of the rocker panels enough that my uprights would have to be bent in some fashion to come out and start up vertical. I had thought about using square tubing to come off of the frame, do a 90 under the rockers, run back to where the rear upright would be, and do another 90 back into the frame. From this I can now go up with my round tubing, and the square has enough surface contact with the frame to be strong. Thats how we do it on race cars anyway.

Can anyone stap a few pics of how they have their cage tied into their frames? I know I can design it strong enough, but it would be nice to see how you guys have done yours to see if I can improve on the design ive got in my head.

AZ rockcrawler or Fatkid got any pics?
