That is one funky looking tread pattern on thise tires. Oh well, its nothing a grooving iron can't fix.

the tread doesn't look very deep compared with a normal bogger.

time to buy some tires since I sold mine, still considering these - anyone have em yet?

These or the 38.5 SX is my current thoughts..

I cant get into these tires for some reason. I just think that they
are lamer than Thornbirds! Maybe with the groover someone can
bring these turds to life!

I don't remember who but somebody ran them for RRCA or a similar series. They said they loved them, maybe somebody remembers, it was posted here.

Local 4xshop recently installed a set of them on a Jeep... good ride, failry quiet, and WAY deep tread.

BUT - they still look :rainbow: and are a waste of money IMHO.

looks like they would be the same as thornturds. terrible for everything. i dought they would work at all in the snow. you need soft sidewalls and large spaces that clean out for the snow. $.02

Swamper needs to come up with something like the bfg Krawler
tire but in sizes like 41x16x15 or 42x17.5x15. MMMMMMM....

i wouldn't get those! they don't have big enough lugs and have no sidewall lugs

imho!:D

Well I think they look cool. They look like they would stick to anything. I HIGHLY doubt you would need to groove them. Usually the people with the most negative things to say don't have any experience with the product. I say judge for yourself. I am also lookign at them.

O ya. I ran/run t-birds through all sorts of terrain and never had a problem except for in the snow. Maybe it's the driver behind the tires, but no one ever thinks of that. :flipoff2:

What about for big street tires?

With this new LT-! I want to use it more on the street.... they are way cheaper than the PJ's I am thinking about...

I looked at them at the last calrocs. One guy had the 39.5's on and he said they really hooked up on the rocks. I was planning on running them once my TSL's are done. With so many edges I think they will be a great rock tire but not as good in ht emud but I never go there unless there rock to get to on the otherside. I likle that they are $20ea cheaper than the TSL's.

For some reason I think they'd be squirmy on the street due to the large tread blocks. I'm curious to hear a first hand account of how they do off road though.

I will try to drop by the shop that runs a set before the end of the week and see what their opinion of them is...

Sorry, but i saw thoes in action here in moonrocks in the calroc comp. They sucked. The fella who was running them was slipping everywhere. No traction. It seemed like he was running slicks. I will never get these for wheeling after thier performance. I bet thornchickens are better offroad.

Looks like they'd be a great sand tire, maybe snow but that's about it. Even with that I still say try em. Who knows you might love em and I don't think any1 has run them so all the opinions are just first impression judgements. Go for it!!

After seeing the pics on a Jeep - I think they would make a nice A/T tire for general use...
