This one is killing me. Brand new battery, new starter, annd it won't even click. No cranking over, no chike light, no nothing but the headlights burn bright as can be. Had a charger and a jump box on it still nothing. I'm honestly ready to burn the truck and claim insurance   Any ideas? help please

Your fusible link is burnt.

Check for power at the inside terminal on the starter solenoid.

have you tried jumping the silinoid on the starter, you can do with a screw driver but it works best with a real trigger from kragen.

could be a bad neutral safety switch....
If you can jump the starter and make it work the switch might be bad, or the switch that has the rod going to it on the collum from the key might be bad or out of adjustment...

Ide go with diesel fuel to start the fire primarily because of its slow burning characteristics. Start the fire under to hood and be sure to close the hood before the fire really ignites and takes off making it difficult later on in the process.
Don’t worry you’ll thank me later :-P

I would say fuse link on starter also....the truck is in park right? last thing would be ignition switch...about 16.00 bucks I just did mine.....

Shaker, I'm right up the road from u at ODU. One of J-rod's buddies. Swamp Rat is gonna love that brand new axle. I forgot all about that fusible link. But would that cause the choke light and everything that normally comes on b4 startup to cut out too?

Got it fixed. "Brand New" starter was junk.
