I ordered a matching pair of slightly smaller 5" round black mirrors, flat and convex (from the site previously posted). The first thing that caught my eye, was that these mirrors utilize bolts for mounting (stock mirrors have build-in studs). I picked up a pair of 2" combination 5/16th studs from the local hardware store (fine and standard threads on each stud). Rather then taping the Toyota arms for 5/16ths, I cut metric threads over the fine threads ( I believe they where 8mmx1.25). no more blind spot :D I don't remember what I paid for these original Toyota mirrors, but the quality of these black mirrors are very good for $8. manny mr_manny 05-10-2005, 11:24 PM convex on the passenger side is a good thing... thanks again for your replies, manny | |
