I figured I would move this here and maybe get more of a response.

Rebuilding a Chevy power steering pump for a 350 no hydroboost.
I did a search . . . nothing on rebuilding just replacing.

Has anyone rebuilt these things?
How hard is it to do?

O-rings and such are only 5$.

Also most post say you need to pull the pully before taking off the pump. Is this the only way?

34.99 replacement hydro pump from NAPA with warrenty its not worth rebuilding and the reseal kit doesn't rebuild pump just reseals

according to application yea pulley has to be removed to remove pump about any serp belt application is that way

I know things really do cost more there but it really isnt worth the trouble to rebuild yourself, hydro or not they are still cheaper to buy............
