Well I guess it doesn't hurt to get the word out. I'm surprised how many stolen trucks I see people looking for. Makes me want to do a better job of keeping on the look out.

Anyway, someone nabbed my classic 77 F150 4x4 on Monday May 2nd during the day in Littleton Colorado, a suburb south of Denver from a transit bus parking lot. I've owned this rig from day 1, and just to share a story, I bought it brand new in 1977 and I think I paid just around $6200 and believe it or not it has under 80,000 original miles on it. I've got more $$ tied up in rebuilding it than it cost new. It's that original Ford light green paint, no body damage what so every, except maybe for the tailgate looking a little rough these days. It has Colorado colector plates 916 HYG. It also has a dark green sprayed on bed liner with custom tie down holders and a two step trailer hitch. It has(or at least had) the original dealer logo on the tail gate "Yucca Ford - Silver City NM" and an American Motorcycle Association (AMA) bumper sticker on the right rear bumper and a smaller on in the left rear window.

If by some strange fate you should spot this rig in your area. I'd appreciate a note, thanks.

Those ('77-78 Ford trucks) are one of the most prized vehicles in Mexico. My bet is that it is heading there.
