: Hard shift into reverse turbo 400 blzn74 02-25-2002, 04:25 PM Lately after the truck is at normal operating temperature, and after a good drive, when I put the truck in reverse it sounds like it shifts pretty hard, with a clunk and a jolt, only in reverse though, and only when the truck is warmed up, it doesnt do it when the truck is cold, anythoughts? 1981 chevy 4x4 3/4ton 350/400 Blzn74 Red Chevy Girl 02-25-2002, 10:52 PM check the fluid when its warmed up, mine shifts hard when it gets a little low on fluild. Alos take a look at your U joints...Whens the last time you changed your tranny fluid and filter? Is this a 2WD or 4WD truck? This could add a few more things to check........:skull: | |
