Johnson Valley is in Ca, and its a lot of miles from Sacramento.. its in so cal.. :flipoff2:

one question... going to Yucca Valley on Hyw 247, there is like three freakin ways to go enter "Johnson Valley", wut one is the best to take, i stilll take the sandy entrance nearest to Yucca Valley, also, where do u go to get to the Hammers from the Lake bead at the Sandy entrance?:question:

If you are on the lakebed, look to the east---the hills are the hammers---- to get to most of the trails, head north, just past the sand dune and follow the roads into the hills.

Boone Road. 20.3 miles from Circle K in Yucca Valley, and 25 miles from Lucerne Valley.

unless you have gps cords then your best bet from the dry lake bed is to tag along with somebody who knows where they are going. (and even then it is not a sure thing :D )
