Will this:

Work for a Hypertherm Plasma cutter even though it doesn't specifically say it will? It's a LOT cheaper than the one "specific" to the hypertherm. :)

Hard to say. That picture is pretty small. Impossible to get an idea of how it fits onto the torch and whether it would fit the HyperTherm torch unless someone has one.

Yeah, I was hoping someone had one. Looking at the guns on different units some are very similiar if not identical to the hypertherms..

I was just looking at that same one last week. So which one of us is gonna buy one to find out? I've got the Hypertherm 380.

I`m gonna purchase it, I`ll take pictures and let everyone know if it fits. $25 free shipping, and no tax can't beat that compared to ~$100
BTW- Hypertherm 60 here, I believe same gun as 380 too.

You ever need patterns to cut repetitive complex shapes? I was using hardboard for awhile, then steel, but switched to this phenolic composite type stuff. Using 1/4 you can get the edges smooth as glass and heat doesn't affect it, non-conductive...works slick. Let us know how that guide works.

where do you get this phenolic composit ? is that a commone name for it ?
any time ive made a guide plate or similer my cuts are great, free hand ehhhh not so good... possible does someone make/sell laser cuts of commmone sized circles/holes out of steel/alum etc..
Thanks

Sweet :)
Btw, I`ve used wood as guides and it works fine for me just don't go to slow or angle towards the wood and you have no problems :)

How big of a gun can it handle? If you could measure, I would greatly appreciate. I have a thermal dynamics and the gun is pretty beefy around the tip...
