1st of all, I thru code 71 which is some sort of 5volt Aux. code, what do I have to do to fix this, I couldn't find anything in the book.

2nd how do you clear codes, do they go away on your own, do you have to reset them, or take it in to a Dodge dealer to reset?

I have a 2001 3/4 ton 4x4, Edge Comp chip and FASS Fuel system (not the filter one, just the pump-the 150gph pump :smokin: )

Any help would be appreciated,
John

if you fix the problem the codes will go away in 50-100 miles. If you want them away sooner go to Autozone and borrow their code scanner and you can clear codes with that. If you are really lazy and impatient you can pull your the neg post of your battery for 15 minutes and that will also reset the comp. If you haven't fixed the problem the code will come back in 50-100 miles though ;)

Do you have anymore information for the code? If its just an aux 5volt to nothign that important, I wouldnt worry about it. Most of thoes codes seems to be a connection with in that circuit. Do you have a manual that showes the wiring diagrams for your truck? If not you should get one. www.booksforcars.com is where I got mine, and it was pretty cheep compaired to new. I'm pretty good with wiring so if ya need help let me know.
