looking for good die grinder bits

i have looked through http://www.use-enco.com/CGI/INSRHM but i don't have any experiance with anything but the home depot style crap bits they sell.

what would you recommend?

oh i should add i'm looking for aggresive to finishing type.

I've noticed some ACE hardware stores carry aggressive carbide die grinding bits. Look in there welding supply area.

They have some at my local welding shop. We use a ton at work, Ill get the name off the package tommarow. Flexovit seems to stick in my head though

I use carbide cutter bits, call them the "fawk u charlie" bits because they remove material quick. www.reidtool.com has them I know, my dad gave me a couple from his old job.

Kennametal. Expensive if you buy from a distributor, but try on ebay for some good deals. You'll see closeouts and old stock from distributors on there.

They suck (from experience). If you want real carbide bits, you're going to have to shell out the money...otherwise just go with the cheapo stone bits.

What about the long (1.5-2") sandpaper rolls?

I purchased a die-grinder a few months ago but have no real source for the bits I want (I have a few alu heads that need porting). I figured I'd pick up one of those $50 head porting kits from Summit, but would rather buy stuff I'll use instead of get a plastic box full of a bunch of bits I won't.

I need to buy a few more bits: do I want single cut or double cut? Mostly mild steel.
