I know this is a long shot, but I need the temp sensor at the base of the carb for a 78 2F California spec rig. I am sure anyone will work as long as the resistance is close (2.2Kohm / 0.5Kohm).

I failed my smog test since the EGR valve did not turn on. Now I have diagnosed the problem to be the temp sensor at the base of the carb. I tried to fix it, but it did not work. Now I have a switch with 2 resistors on it so I can turn on and off the EGR circuit as needed, but I would like to use a sensor if possible.

I will take it back down for a recheck and I hope the SMOG tech doesn't notice the missing sensor and the bypass wiring.

I did try the Wanted section, but only got 3 views.....so that is why I posted here.....already have 30 views.

Anyway, I posted on the LCML and I have one coming to me! I should have thought to ask Jim Chenoweth of TLC Performance since he is the CARB guru for TLCs.
