If ya like that one, you can caravan with us out to Utah in Sept. the women's event is the 2 days before the open event.......

It'll be a long drive from Zelienople. Anyone else from PA going to AR?

Dude,

Plan on losing 20 lbs in the Sauna we call Arkansas in July!

You know how all the East coast guys are always talking about "slick rocks" and stuff?

I'm telling you this now...Cass, AR in July is going to be hell on earth for that competition.

I have NO IDEA what Bob Hazel was thinking scheduling that run then.

Now before you start thinking about how hot it gets in Arizona and JV in July...like the mudy rocks there is something in AR tht is not out in those areas....

Humidity.

Have fun, bring Kelly.....I'll take you guys to Poteau or Clayton if you have enough time.

I agree with wngrog on that... you haven't seen heat and hell till you've been in OK, TX, or Arkansas in the middle of July...

And to top all that off... I've seen a lot of pics and heard a lot of stories about Cass... should be a pretty tough event.

I should have the Ducky definitely done and debugged by July... so I'll be there... I'm sure Sam Patton and some others will be there too...

Well damn, that's in my neighborhood, 120 miles. Can't get any closer and still have rock. I'll have to run over for a day at least to see it.

This web site says the dates are July 13-14. And yeah its gonna be hot and sticky.

P.S. Cass in on the White River which is a decent fishing river if you've got a boat with a little power to move you around. Just FYI for all you multi-sport guys. Also tons of big lakes on the way, great canoeing and stream fishing in the Ozarks, and plenty of jeep trails in the Ozark Natl Forest, Ouachita Natl Forest and Mark Twain Natl Forest.

Yeah, great duck hunting territory. I think I had the wrong place, though, looks like Mapsonus converted my "Cass AR" to "Casscoe AR" on the White (should've used mapquest). Cass is actually on Highway 23, in the middle of the Ozarks, which makes more sense than over on the White. That's about 275 miles from me. Cass is on the Mulberry River, which is an awesome canoeing stream in the spring but it'll be pretty dry in July. There's still some good swimming holes even after it dries up, though, which can come in handy on those 95/95 July days in the Ozarks.

Tons of places to ride, pretty much all of the Forest land is open to ORVs except a few wilderness areas. Write to the Forest service in Russellville AR and get them to send you a land holdings and trail map, then compare that to a topo map and you'll be in business.
