i want to know if a motorcraft 2150 (same thing as 2100 with a different choke) with a 1.08 venturi will work on a 345 i think they cam off fords with the 289 between 73 and 77. so the ultimate question will this carb run ok on the engine or will it just strave it for fuel.

You could get a 2100/2150 from six cylinders up to big blocks. If you want one for a 345, get a carburetor from a 351 or a 360. The junkyards are full of them. I may be wrong but I believe the 2100 is the Motorcraft that Ford used, and the 2150 is the Motorcraft that AMC used. They are nearly identical and interchangable.

By the way, the 289 was killed off long before '77. :flipoff2:

I have a ford motor craft that I can sell you for cheap...its a 2barrel but runs on my 304 just fine. Its been rebuilt only one month ago.
