83 Waggy d44, removing the knuckles, we got the nuts off, and the c-ring off the bottom, how does the rest come off? just pound on it with a 10lb slege?

Any tips and tricks from yalls masters out there?

HIT IT HARD! with a hammer

use the BFH and hit the inner knuckle close to the ball joint taper as you can.

and when you are hitting the knuckle.. I normally use the double tap technique...

Tap it once good.. while its still "ringing" hit it hard a second time.

an excellent technique that minimizes missed shots and swearing.

If you don't care about the ball joints, you can use a combination of the hit it hard with a BFH, and use some pickle fork action too. This combo worked well for me.
