I let my truck idle for a few minutes the other day while I was talking to someone. When I jumped back in and put it in gear, it started running like crap and died. It did it again when I started it back up. It was acting like it was running out of gas (1/2 full though). For some reason, it popped into my head to take off the gas cap. As soon as I did, it started running like a champ again. I'm thinking that it was just a fluke as it never did this before, and hasn't since. I'm thinking that there was a vaccuum in the tank, but there wasn't any noise from it equalizing when I took the cap off. Do these trucks have fuel pump issues? I have almost 73k miles on mine. Should I be putting in a call to areomotive, or should I just ignore it? Thanks.
While I'm at it, what problems do these trucks typically have, if any? I know some older dodges had issues, so I'd like to know if there is anything I should be looking out for on my truck. If I can manage to break it, I'll have an excuse to mod it...
