what color is your brake fluid. Hint it should be clear if you flushed them.

This isnt actualy the best place for this question. Try the newbie 4x4 section for generic questions. I just got back from Mexico so I'm guessing the BB is down?

You can also go to www.justinternationals.org for standard IHC questions. If the BB goes south...again.

I wish my brakes would lock up. They barely work as it is right now.

Do you have a service manual? If not, get one.

There are "special" bleeding procedures for IH brakes because of the special proportioning/combo valve (That brass block thing on the inner fender). Its got a spool in it to close off the front or rear circuit in case of a brake failure at one of those ends, and need to be re-set during a brake job.

Maybe you have a drum brake proportioning valve?
