I don't have AC in my jeep but I do on my firebird. I'm about to yank it out to save 40 lbs. + clean up the engine bay. How can I turn this into an air compressor?

sorry I didn't know if GM compressors could do it the same as toyota ones, which I did find searching. :(

i ran a york on my old 351w but i just swapped in a 99 vortec 350. the york ran in an oil bath but this new one uses the freon to lube it's self. i have heard that running slick50 through compressors like this from time to time will make them live so that is what i'm trying. i used to this weekend for the first time and it worked great. :D
