What's your Favorite 4x4 Trail to MTB?

If it wasn't for MTBing the Con I wouldnt be 4wheeling today!
Used to hit the Con by bike regularly with some guys from my LBS, one of them went C-dale pro trials and another I recently hook up with and now he wheels too as well as working at Extreme Gear Off Road (http://www.extremegearoffroad.com).

Any ways, what's your favorite 4x4/MTB trails, ya know, ones that are actually long enough to get something done on a bike. So far mine would have to be the Rubicon.

I plan on taking my bike on our club's overnight runs this year!

I braught my bike to Moab on a wheeling trip. I rode while the others slep :)
Great riding out there.

yep Moab is a MTB mecca worthy of a both MTB and 4x4 only trips!
Riding while the others sleep is exactly my plan, that and maybe take an extra day there if the location is worth riding.
So far i'm riding more than I'm wheeling but that's how it goes for me this time of the year.

Best MTB trail, without a doubt, would be Porcupine Rim with Amasa Back (Cliffhanger to us Jeepers) a close second.
Both in Moab. (is there anywhere else?)

Anywhere in Moab is great!
By the lack of popularity of this thread not to many wheelers like to mix their trails :confused:

Would have been unheard of a couple years ago.
My riding buds thought I'd lost my mind.

I like singletrack when I'm on 2wheels and big bolders when I'm wheeling :D

It must be a toyota thing :)

Don't mater if I'm wheeling or riding, everyone says the same thing, "where you been?" I tell them, "the dark side".

That response works for both groups :flipoff2:

There is some really great riding in the ocoee region i dont know if any of you guys have been there. I don't have much to compare it to because thats the main place i ride. But it helps to be right around the ocoee and have some fantastic scenary.

If ur talking Tennessee then that's a bit far for me but heck if ur putting me up then I'm game :)
I know there's some good wheeling in Tennessee.

Yeah I've heard of mtb trails in that area but arn't they all like under 10 miles long? I've wheeled Deer Valley Trail from Hwy88 to 4 but that's about it. Do you have info on any other worth while trails around there including Bear Valley?

Hey Bluewater, I was born at Copper Basin Hospital. I cut my teeth on the trails & rapids in that area. You are right about the riding:top notch. I've ridden all over & think our trails compare very well to those out west, though I think many of ours do tend to get over-groomed (Why can't logs STAY in the trail?!?!). One exception being the Pinhotti North trail out of Dalton. That may be the most technical trail in the SE...damn I love that trail.

I saw your Truth posted...very nice! Youd probably kick my ass, I've gone to the dark side of heavy bikes and slow climbs.

As far as riding my bike where I wheel? Not much, My Jeep's too fat for singletrack. :D

Slick Rock is short and not too hard, kind of a mini rubicon style, it fun it runs from Lake Alpine to Utica reservoir you can find it on a topo map or Google, fun and great camping,
